Drum Lampshade Making Workshop
Join me at The Craft Box at Elsecar Heritage Centre in Barnsley, on Saturday 6th April 2019 for a fun lampshade making workshop. During this workshop you will learn how to make a professional, handmade drum lampshade. Throughout the workshop I will pass on my wealth of experience and share with you tips and tricks to get a professionally finished drum lampshade. After the lampshade making workshop you will have the skills needed to make more at home.
What is included in the workshop?
On the day you can choose whether to make a 25cm or 30cm drum lampshade in your fabric. you can choose to make a 25cm lampshade which is perfect for a lamp base. Or you can make a larger 30cm shade which looks lovely on a lamp base or as a ceiling light. You will need to bring 0.5 meters of fabric with you to the workshop – or I will have a small selection of fabrics with me that you can purchase on the day. All the other lampshade making materials you need to make your drum lampshade are included in the price of the workshop.
Once we are half way through the workshop your hard work will be rewarded with tea, coffee and homemade cake. These refreshments are also included in the price of the workshop.
