Description
This beautiful, one of a kind gathered lampshade is hand sewn using a colourful yellow & green Indian block printed cotton called ‘Yellow Bells’. Each gather of the fabric has been hand stitched by me & is finished off with a handmade matching bias trim to the top & bottom of the shade.
The block printed fabric is 100% cotton & due to the fabric being hand printed, there will be slight imprefections, which you would expect from such a beautiful process. These imperfections only add to the character & beauty of the lampshade, making it one of a kind.
A gathered shade can add a touch of softness to a corner of a room, bringing texture to our soft furnishings can change a space & freshen it up.

I always recommend using an energy saving bulb with my lampshades. Not only does this reduce energy consumption, it means the bulb will not get as hot as traditional bulbs. Meaning minimal fire risk. However, I do spray all my fabric lined lampshades with a fire retardant spray for peace of mind.
